Building the technology infrastructure African enterprises run on.

Ora Group is an African technology company building operating systems, intelligence and infrastructure for real industries. Our first layer, OraOS, now operates across coffee, business and construction.

What we are building

Foundational technology, one layer at a time

Not an agency and not a consultancy. Ora designs and builds the systems an organisation runs on, and the layers beneath them, in the order they can be built honestly.

Operating systems

Systems built around how one industry actually runs, rather than a general tool bent to fit it. This is where the group earns its keep today.

Intelligence

Findings read from the operating record, written as cause and consequence, so a system explains what it found instead of leaving the reading to you.

Data

Reporting and analysis derived from the records underneath, so the number on the screen can always be traced to the thing that produced it.

Cybersecurity

Security, access and compliance engineering for organisations that will eventually run their operations, and their evidence, on Ora.

Infrastructure

The longer horizon: hosting, data residency and the foundations African enterprises should not have to rent from another continent forever.

Each layer is built where it earns its place, inside a working system, before it is called a division.

What exists today

OraOS, in market

Three operating systems and a free tools layer, each on its own site, each carrying its own status. Open any of them and judge it yourself.

OraOS Coffee is ready for pilot deployments. OraOS Business and OraOS Construction are early access, with demonstrations running on sample data. Ora Account and Ora Tools Pro are not built yet, and say so wherever they appear.

The Ora Group architecture

One group, built in a deliberate order

Eight divisions, and only one of them is active. The others are named because the direction is real and the sequence matters, not because they are available.

Why Africa

Because the operating reality here is different, and worth building for

This is a market thesis, not a cause.

African enterprises are not short of ambition, capital discipline or operating skill. They are short of software written by people who have watched how the work is actually done: the buying agent at the roadside, the certificate that decides whether a contractor gets paid, the licence that expires in twenty one days.

Software designed elsewhere assumes a different operating reality, then asks the business to adapt to it. That is why so much of it is bought, half used and quietly abandoned.

We build the other way around. Start from how the operation runs, keep the record honest, and hold the engineering to a standard that would stand anywhere in the world. Not because the continent needs charity, but because the market is real and the work is worth doing properly.

How we build

What we hold ourselves to

Five commitments that decide what ships, and what waits.

Africa built, globally credible

Built here, engineered to a standard that does not need an explanation anywhere else.

Excellence, or nothing

The best version of the thing, or we do not ship it. There is no house style for cutting corners.

Institutions, not launches

We are building things intended to outlast us, which changes what is worth doing this quarter.

Real operating problems

Every product starts with an operation that hurts, named by someone who runs one.

Say what is true

Available, early access and not built yet are labelled as such, on the page and in the product.

Ora means light.

We bring clarity into complex operations, turning fragmented work into intelligent systems, and ambition into institutions built to last.

Work with Ora

Four ways this usually starts

Enterprises and institutions

Run an operation that one of the systems fits. Pilots and early access begin with a conversation about how you work today.

Partnership

Investment

Talent

We hire rarely and carefully. Open roles are published on the careers page, and it says plainly when applications are closed.
